Here Are My Projects!

The Giving Grape (formely Corona Care USA) is a non-profit organization that strives to make connections between people who need help and people who can help, facilitating the distribution of grocery gift cards to those in need. Our platform is built with React-Redux and Ruby on Rails. My duties at The Giving Grape include translating mock-ups into a responsive, mobile-friendly frontend and refactoring backend functionality to accomodate new and updated features, such as a community donation pool and user verifications with Twilio's Verify API.

Welcome to Animetflix, the hot new streaming service catered to your Anime viewing needs! The moment you sign up, you have access to a bountiful collection of Anime movies organized into toggleable carousels based on their genres. Slide back and forth across each list at the press of a button or search the database directly with a search input in the header. See a movie you like and want to watch later? Just click the "My List" button and a new list will appear before your eyes on the browser filled with the movies you want to watch.

UpNext is a one-stop-shop app that allows you to both log movies and TV shows* and that you are interested in and then automatically get provided with recommendations based on these interests. No longer will you have to waste time on Google searching for what's next, because we'll show you what's UpNext! In the future, UpNext will take into account all of your interests and provide aggregate recommendations, with media types being expanded to games and music.

Fire Girl is a 2D action platformer that harkens back to the days of the NES. Play a demo of Level 1 and defeat all enemies to proceed to the next screen until you come face-to-face with a deadly boss battle. Or, test your might in survival mode, battling a barrage of enemies in pursuit of a new high score!
